| Kathleen is an award-winning composer/lyricist, performer and author. She studied with gifted composer Richard Cornell at the Longy School of Music in Cambridge and Maury Yeston in the BMI advanced musical theater workshop in New York. A graduate of Emerson College, Kathleen’s musical works and theater pieces have been performed throughout the United States. Ms. Dahill received the Connecticut Best Original Production award and the 2011 Mokihana Song Festival Award. She has concertized for non-profits in Boston, New York, Chicago, San Francisco, Alaska, and Ireland and was chairperson of the Voice Department at the Community Music School in Connecticut. Kathleen happily collaborates with her husband, Chris Sweitzer and creates original performance projects. |
Chris is an award-winning photographer whose subject matter includes portrait, landscape, and candid photographs. His assignments have taken him from the Atlantic to the Pacific coasts of the United States, England, Ireland, and Saint Martin. Chris received a Five Star Photography Masters award from Canon Corporation and studied with Clinton Smith, protégé of the legendary Ansel Adams. His knowledge of theatrical lighting design and audio engineering is extensive. He has created over 50 theatrical productions including live television news broadcasts. He contributes his talents to Ciao Italia!, the longest-running national food show on PBS, as associate producer, video editor, and floor director. Chris currently directs documentaries featuring kupuna (elders) and students on the island paradise of Kauai and teaches at Island School. | |
